Treasure: stories of lockdown

Nobody predicted a world pandemic would happen in our  lifetime. But it has happened and  since then we've all tried many things and different ways of doing things differently while pulling through together and adapting to the new normal. These stories are inspirational, and meant to uplift,  empower and motivate ourselves and others  readers to look at life as a precious gift and appreciate  the little things that we often take for granted.

Jemma’s chapter is called ‘A Garden Still Grows’ And is a collection of diary entries Jemma made during the pandemic, little did she know this would be the period in which she would be becoming a published author and with the help of her neighbor started Gardening!

‘I feel extremely lucky to have been able to connect with so many women, not only the ones in this volume, but the women in volume 1 and those that would feature in subsequent volumes, who share in my vision at this present time to join me in creating a piece of history that we can own and preserve for the future. Our collective lived  experiences of what it felt like to live in a world that was taken over by  COVID-19 pandemic.

So, I'd like to Thank all the Women and You  also who is reading this piece.

Huge Congratulations to all!’
